Privacy Policy — Animo

Animo helps you track your pets' health: vaccines, dewormers, flea treatments, visits and health record. We take your privacy seriously: Animo is local-first by design.

Data processed

All your data (pets, care items, dates, weights, notes and attachments such as the health record, prescriptions and vet invoices) is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced via your private iCloud account. This data:

• is never sent to our servers (we have no server);
• is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Photos and documents

The pet photos and documents you add (photo, camera or PDF) are stored locally (and in your private iCloud). Camera and photo library access is only used when you add a photo or a proof.

Notifications

Care reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No data is sent to any third party to trigger them.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple (App Store). We have no access to your payment information.

Usage statistics

The app may use anonymous, aggregated statistics to improve itself. They cannot identify you and include none of your personal data.

Your rights (GDPR)

• Delete your data: delete the app (local data is erased) and, if needed, remove the app from iCloud in Settings → iCloud.
